History

From humble beginnings through to today.

Our Organisation

Founded in 1988 as the Central Coast Community FM Radio Association Inc., Coast FM 963 has thrived thanks to the dedication of 60 volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and talents. From crafting engaging programs to representing community interests on our management committee and working groups, our volunteers embody the spirit of the Central Coast.

To ensure our organisation’s sustainability and success, we’ve assembled a dedicated support team, including management, sponsorship and marketing teams, and operational support staff. Together, we work tirelessly to maintain Coast FM 963’s position as a vital community hub.

Proudly holding the title of the longest-running community radio station on the Coast, formerly known as 2CCC until 2006, Coast FM 963 has been a permanent fixture in our region since 1992. As a proud member of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia, we extend our gratitude to the Community Broadcasting Foundation for their invaluable support.

At Coast FM 963, we’re not just broadcasting; we’re building bridges, fostering connections, and celebrating the rich tapestry of Central Coast life. Join us as we continue to champion our community’s diversity, creativity, and spirit.
